Getting Started

Cue-to-Cue helps actors learn their lines. Create a show, add your scenes and cast members, enter the script, and rehearse until your lines are second nature.

How do I create a show?

Tap the + button on the main screen and choose New Show. Give it a title, then use the Setup section to add scenes, cast members, and lines.

How do I rehearse?

From the show screen, tap Rehearse. Select a cast member and scene, then run through your lines. Tap to reveal each line, or use recording mode to practice speaking before you peek.

How do I share a show with someone?

Open the show and tap the share icon (↑) in the top right. This creates a .ctcshow file you can send via AirDrop, email, or iCloud Drive. Shows with many recordings can be large — if Messages fails, use AirDrop or email instead.

How do I import a show someone sent me?

Tap the .ctcshow file in Messages or Files to open it directly in Cue-to-Cue. You can also tap + on the main screen and choose Import Show to browse for a file manually.

My data isn't syncing across devices.

Make sure iCloud is enabled for Cue-to-Cue on both devices. Go to Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud and confirm Cue-to-Cue is turned on.

How do I delete a show?

On the main screen, swipe left on a show and tap Delete. This permanently removes all scenes, lines, and recordings for that show.
